I got my first Rubik’s Cube last year 2025.
Goshhh.. So puzzlingggg !!!
So embarrassed to say I have never once solved this puzzling cube on my own.
And I even had to use YouTube to help me figure it out.
But it just didn’t work out.
According to the official Rubik’s website, “there are over 43 quintillion possible configurations for a 3×3 Rubik’s Cube.”
Yes, quintillion. It looks like this “000.000.000.000.000.000”
The most important thing is this …..
1. Most of us invest our time and energy in things that completely absorb and attract us, like spending hours attempting to solve a Rubik’s Cube.
2. Here is what I want to say: Just as handling a Rubik’s Cube takes patience and focus, so does studying the Bible.
3. Invest time in reading the Bible thoroughly, just like you spend time twisting and turning a Rubik’s Cube.
Joshua 1:8
“Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.”
4. Just like how difficult it is to solve a Rubik’s Cube, always remember that we need someone to come and help us when we get stuck or fail.
Ecclesiastes 4:9 Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed.
5. Start picking up your Bible and turning through it verse by verse—twisting and working through each chapter until you gain true knowledge of God.
Proverbs 2:4-6 Search for them as you would for silver; seek them like hidden treasures. Then you will understand what it means to fear the LORD, and you will gain knowledge of God.
Let’s pray:
Lord Jesus, we realize and know how lazy we are to meditate on Your word, and how often we even ignore reading it. Please set our hearts on fire to always long for Your word to always hunger for your word to always thirst for your word. Make this labor of reading and meditating Your word full of joy and turn it into delightful task.
Amen
